An In-depth Study and Critique of the Damaging Consequences of Constructing the Cross Country Road in St Vincent (SVG).

The proposed ULP regime cross country road is an outrageous project. It will damage our precious high-quality, drinking water watersheds and destroy the natural habitat of our national bird.

This unnecessary cross country road will run through SVG’s greenbelt area which is protected and preserved by the SVG 1973 Electricity Act. The cross country road will impact negatively on the SVG economy and devastate the environment with long-term and severe landslides and flooding.

SVG Green Party and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines owe the report writer, Kate Fox, a huge debt of thanks for taking the time to research and write this report. The report will help save the drinking water of our beloved country.
