The SVG Green Party catches the ULP Government lying, deceiving and misleading Parliament in the 2007 Budget Address. We consider the matter very serious to warrant an early General Election. We have written to his Excellency the Governor General requesting Parliament be prorogued some time in 2007 and fresh General Elections to be held.

To that end SVG Green Party will be preparing for elections in 2007 as follows:

• A very strong membership drive starting on Friday 12th January 2007 in Kingstown and thereafter every Friday.

• SVG Green Party will be holding town hall meetings in all of the 15 constituencies and looks forward to meeting and hearing the views of members of the public.

• SVG Green Party will be holding a national convention within the first 6 months of 2007.

We seek support from the general public in the membership drive. Membership is free.
